Fall Season's decoration

I went to the mountain with hubby and his family. I got puzzled when I saw my mother in law picking some flowers and fruits of some plants. The stupid me thought they were medicines that my in laws need to take. When they came to my house, my mother in law asked me if I have a flower vase or just a jar where she can put the flowers that she brought. I gave her the jar that I use when I make ice coffee and look what she did.


She said it's a good decoration for a fall season. Wow!

Let's have fun!

There's a new big playground in my neighborhood. They have been doing it for months now and we see the changes everyday. From the time they started it until now that it's almost done. The ground is already covered with grasses and this morning, I saw the new benches around it. My hubby said that the first thing that he wants to do in that playground is to play soccer and baseball with me. I don't think that I can play baseball. I got afraid of playing baseball since I was hitten by the ball. But I can play soccer although i'm not good at sports but I have to learn for my hubby and for our health.

Busy, busy, and busy

Yes guys I'm so busy, busy and busy so I'm sorry for not visiting you for a long time. I even couldn't visit my blog because there are lots of things to do first. But after doing this duties and responsibilities that hubby assigned to me, then I will have enough time to visit you more often.

My hubby opened a new business and as a good wife (muhaha...) I have to support him. It's not only my blogging that I neglected but also I missed some episodes of my favorite program on tv specially the drama. waaahhhh...

Oopppsss...i'm just snatching some time on the computer while my hubby is getting some zzzzz... I also need to take a rest but I suddenly thought of my blog and saw that I haven't posted for more than a week that's why i'm updating it now.

Blue Mountain in Katoomba

I don't know if it was winter or rainy season when we arrived in Sydney. It was too cold at night and it rained a lot during the day. We went there to travel so the rain didn't stop us to see some nice views of Australia. It was also raining when we decided to visit Katoomba, a place where the Blue Mountain is located. It took us more than two hours by train to get there but unfortunately we couldn't visit the Mountain because of the fog. It was foggy so it was hard to see the way going to the Echo Point. We tried to go but we were stock in the middle so we decided to go back. We were disappointed but we also considered it as a great adventure. Walking in a road that covered with mist. That was awesome!

After a few days, we went back to Katoomba to see the Blue Mountain. This time with a nice weather so we reached the Echo Point. The formation known as the Three Sisters.


Katoomba is probably the most visited location in the Blue Mountains. There were lots of tourists came to see the breathtaking views of 170m high Echo point. It is one of the best known and most photographed landmarks in New South Wales.

Hot water in cold winter

I can't sleep without pillows around me. I like hugging pillows specially when I watch tv lying on the sofa. I always think of getting bed throws but I haven't seen the good style that I like when I go shopping. I know most of you have bad impressions about the bathrooms. We think of it as a dirty and not a place where we can stay long. But I want to erase that impression. I often go to the bathroom. It is where I spend my 10 minutes break at work. I can't start my work without going to the bathroom. I always look at the mirror, wash my hands and pee before I start to work. It became my daily routine. At home, it is one of the rooms that I give more attention when I clean the house. I clean it everyday and put everything in order. I felt good when somebody came to my house and said that my house was clean and in order including the bathroom. The Victory of Obama

There are lots of things to blog about and lots of pictures to upload but I'm too busy and sometimes lazy to blog when I have time. I just came back to congratulate the newly elected U.S. President Barack Obama. Instead of watching a drama this morning, our eyes were in the news about the Presidential election in the U.S. I know that most people around the World were focus on this election waiting for the result, like in Kenya where Obama's father was born declared this day a public holiday.

When I came back from work and turned on the tv, I saw the victory of Obama. I don't live in the US but I'm glad to know that Obama won. He is loved by people around the world. Like what the Thai Pracha Kanjananont said, "He is a truly global president".

Like everyone's wish, I also hope that his victory will change the world for a better and peaceful one! And of course, he can't do it alone. If we truly like him, then we have to help him make the world better and peaceful!

I had dinner out with my co-workers. One of them said she had to leave early because her mom couldn't pick her up. She doesn't like taking a taxi. She said if you want to die early, then take a taxi. I agree. Most taxi drivers are wreckless drivers. Most of them don't follow the traffic signs, don't drive well and drives fast. One of the reason that hubby don't want me to learn how to drive. He said it's dangerous for me because of the taxi drivers. Because I always sit on the front seat when I go out with hubby, so I've also noticed that taxi drivers don't use the lights well. You don't know what they want to do if you are behind them. You think they are going straight then they suddenly turned right of left. They are doing it without using any signs that irritates hubby and I'm sure most people do.

I sometimes understand them because they have to make money and most of them don't drive with their own taxi. But it doesn't mean that they have to drive wrecklessly because of that. If there are two cars bumped in the street, I always think that one of them is a taxi. Luckily, they don't hurt much but cause much damaged for the car. If you are an employer, isn't it better to hire a responsible driver? If your driver identifies as "high risk", he must take the driver safety training. Ghost story

Because Koreans don't celebrate All Saint's Day, I almost forgot that it's All Saint's Day today. As I was washing the dishes, I suddenly remembered about this scary day. I'm not scared of Halloween but I'm scared during All Soul's Day! I can't even go to the bathroom alone, if I do then I don't close the bathroom door. I didn't believe in Ghost until I saw them. You heard it right, I saw ghost not only once but three times and I don't believe that they are just my imagination because I've seen them with my two eyes.

I first saw a ghost when I was in the dormitory with my friend. We were talking to each other until late at night when we heard that someone was pulling a chair and when we went out, we saw a lady wearing all white clothes. Her feet are not on the floor. She was floating. My friend and I ran upstairs and went to bed. Is that what they called a "white lady?"

The second one was at home. I was sleeping. In the middle of the night, I suddenly felt like going to the bathroom to pee. When I woke up, I saw someone kneeling down in front of me. I was scared so I closed my eyes. I thought I was just dreaming so I opened my eyes again and there he was still in front of me. I prayed and my mouth started to shiver. I prayed continously on my mind and when I opened my eyes I saw him left through the steel window.

Do you still wanna hear the third one? I'm sorry I can't tell you right now because me myself is also scared now. They say you'll become brave if you already saw a ghost but until now i'm still a coward.

It's Halloween and All Saint's Day guys that's why I'm telling you a ghost story. hehehe...

Halloween

Hi guys, I still have lots of pictures to share during our trip to Australia but i'm too lazy to upload some pictures. I'm gonna share them to you when I have much time. We cancelled our plan of going to Nepal next month because of the exchange rate.

Time flies! My post about the halloween party is still fresh on my mind and now another halloween is here again. And after halloween, it's Christmas. It's hard to accept that I'm getting older.

I don't know much about Halloween. I don't know the meaning of it and why people celebrate it. I only know the "Trick or Treat" where children knock on their neighbors' doors and asked for candies. How about you? What do you know about Halloween?

Attended a wedding ceremony

We attended a wedding a ceremony today. Again, I met hubby's relatives and chat with them until we left the wedding hall. We had lunch together and they didn't want us to leave. After lunch, Hubby's aunt invited us to her house. She lives in the county and when we went home she gave us a box of persimmons, a big pumpkin, a bottle of sesame oil and bean paste. Too bad I didn't have my camera with me when we went there. The persimmon trees look great with the fruits. They are like flowers because of their fruits. Aunt wants us to go back there again to get some vegetables. She's so kind.

Yesterday, we went to the mountain to bow down to my hubby's ancestors' tomb. We couldn't go there last Thanksgiving there so we did it yesterday. We offered some fruits, rice cake, alcohol, and my father in law lit some cigarettes and put in front of the tombs. We always do this ceremony twice a year. Once on Seollal (Solar New Year) and another on Chuseok (Thanksgiving Day).

I dressed up my windows

It seems impossible

We are planning to go to Nepal next month but because of economic crisis, it seems impossible to leave. The dollar rate is too expensive. I already told my boss that I would quit my job. Although he didn't allow me, I can convince him until he would let me go. I already talked to him three times but instead of allowing me, he gave me a deal. He said from next year, he can give me a vacation once a year anytime that I want. He said never this year because I already got a vacation twice this year. Well, I didn't asked for a vacation, I was quitting my job. "Merong"

Hubby checks the dollar rate everyday and instead of going down, it went up. Oh well, let's see what we can do. Should I continue to work and wait for next year (only two months left)? or just leave my job and go to Nepal. It's a big question that bothers me everyday. Although it's a waste of money to leave now, but we are longing for our next vacation.

How do you exercise?

Experts always say to exercise to stay fit. Do you really exercise everyday? And how do you do it? Do you use machines for that? I have this running machine at home but it's useless because I can't use it often. It's not fun to use it anymore. But I still exercise with my hubby. We sometimes play badminton or table tennis. And now my hubby wants to switch to another game. He wants to play baseball or soccer because there's a new playground in front of my apartment.

I told hubby to asked his friends to play with him because I can't play baseball or soccer. He said he has to get a soccer ball first before playing. I realized that he doesn't have a soccer ball, cleats and shinguard but I'm willing to buy them for him. No worries! Sydney Aquarium

I'm not yet finished posting the pictures of my trip to Sydney. I still have lots of pictures to share so here's the continuation of my journey.

Visiting Sydney isn't complete without visiting the one of the largest aquariums in the world. Located on the eastern (city) side of Darling Harbour to the north of the Pyrmont Bridge, Sydney Aquarium is a must-see and one of the best things to do in Sydney. Take a spectacular journey through the world famous Sydney Aquarium and discover the world's largest collection of all-Australian aquatic life. Although it was included in our list, we had a second thought if we'd visit the aquarium or not. And thanks God we did or else I'd blame myself! Seeing the variety of Australian aquatic life, more than 650 species comprising more than 6,000 individual fish and other sea and water creatures from most of Australia's water habitats made my trip more fantastic and fun!

Flowers on the table

What are these flowers for? Is it my birthday? Is it our anniversary? None of the above! Nothing! There's no occasion today. Thanks God because I didn't prepare anything. hehehe...

Hmmmm... nothing! I'm just happy to see these flowers on the table. hehe...

A ballet dancing or ice skating?

I don't like ice but I love watching someone ice skating. I started to like it when I saw Kim Yu Na, a famous and beautiful South Korean figure skater who won the World Bronze medalist in 2007 and 2008. I was always amazed of her performance in every competiton that she joined. Isn't it amazing to see someone travelling on ice with skates? Compare to me, I even couldn't walk fast in the snow because i'm afraid that I would slip or fall.

Another reason why I like ice skating is because skaters wear very beautiful and sexy dresses. I always check out who has the most beautiful ice skating dress when I watch a competition on tv. Most of them look pretty and sexy with their beautiful Ice Skating dresses. I thought it's too expensive to buy an ice skating dress.
